RVIM is the proposed research center for Ph. D programs offered by Bangalore University. An exclusive Research center has been set up with latest computers and internet facilities. Further access to online National and International Journals is provided for Data Mining. SPSS package is installed for advanced Statistical Analysis. Conferencing facility, audio, video equipment and photo copying facilities are also provided.

To cater to the research needs of the corporate world, RVIM research center takes up projects in different portfolios. It has in-house expertise to design , plan , analyze and implement the research projects. Expert faculty has guided several research projects from industry. Research findings are presented in the form as required by the user. RVIM also takes up research projects of social concern and projects from Government agencies.

RVIM is recognized as the Karnataka Chapter of Consultancy Development Centre (DSIR, Ministry of Science & Technology), New Delhi.  Through CDC, RVIM is developing opportunities for Consultancy Development in different functional areas for its members.
