- Which university is RVIM Affiliated ?
RVIM is a premier Management Institution and affiliated to Bangalore University. It is recognized by Government of Karnataka and approved by AICTE , New Delhi.
- What is the intake for MBA ?
90 students admitted through PGCET another 90 through MAT/KMAT with Group discussions and Personal interview. Application can be downloaded from web site and send the same to the office with a D.D for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of “RV Institute of Management, Bangalore” , Payable at Bangalore .
- When will the classes commence?
Regular classes will tentatively commence from 2nd week of September 2011. However, Personality development programmes by experts will be conducted which will be intimated in due course. The courseware will be reinforced with Value added courses, Lectures, Workshops, Conferences and Seminars.
- What are the specializations offered?
Marketing, H.R, Finance & System. Dual specializations is offered.
- How is the Placement facility?
RVIM has a well-established placement cell, managed by the dedicated Officers. Our students have been placed in many of the premier organizations like Thomson Reuters, Tesco, IBM, ICICI, Oracle Financial Services, JP Morgan, Capgemini, RBS, Amazon India, Aditi Technologies, Colgate, ITC, Keane, HUL, L & T, Toyota, TCS etc. Average salary offered as per the campus placement is Rs. 2.3 to 3 Lakhs/annum and highest package has been 5 Lakhs/annum.
- Whether hostel facilities are available?
Limited Hostel facilities are available for only girl students on first come first serve basis. However, numbers of private managed PG accommodation facilities are available around the campus.
- Whether the dress code is prescribed
Yes, students have to wear formal and decent dresses.
