Yoga is not a religion; it is a way of living whose aim is ‘A healthy mind in a healthy body’

Man is a physical, mental and spiritual being; yoga helps to promote a balanced development of all the three. Other forms of physical exercises, like aerobics, assure only physical well-being. They have little to do with the development of the spiritual or astral body.

The Yoga and Meditation cell at the  institute , conducts yoga classes for MBA students on regular basis. Yogic practices like asanas, pranayama, meditation and Om chanting increase the circulation of blood to the brain. This helps to calm the mind and enhances concentration skills. Memory lapses can also be prevented through yogic practices that enhance the power of recall. One can draw upon the immense power of the mind with consistent yogic endeavor.

The teachers train the students on various yoga techniques to overcome stress, strain and help them to maintain good physical as well as mental health.

Center for Indian Culture And Heritage

The RVIM, which firmly believes in, the harmonious blend of the Indian culture and ethos and the modern management thoughts and concepts has started this center. It has indeed a matter of pride that the world-class management gurus like C.K.Prahlad, Peter Drucker etc have drawn inspiration from our ancient Indian texts. The Koutilya’s   arthashastra, the Bhagavad-Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Shukvaneetisara, Bhatrharis Shathakatraya, the Upanishads, which have been a fountainhead of everlasting wisdom, continue to challenge the mankind. So keeping this in mind, number of programmes like lectures on interdisciplinary areas study circles and workshops are planned. Also some workshops on the application of ancient Indian mathematical concepts and techniques to competitive exams are designed, which would be highly effective and remunerative.
